As the Director of Communications for Multiple Births Canada (MBC), and the lead organizer for National Multiple Births Awareness Day (NMBAD), I had the pleasure of working with Michelle this past year.

Durham Region Parents of Multiple Births Association (DRPOMBA) is a non-profit organization which offers support for families with twins, triplets, quads and quints. After advertising a need for a Public Relations Co-ordinator, a member connected us with Michelle Halsey, who provided her expertise on PR to our organization.
Michelle's exceptional ability quickly became apparent as she provided wonderful new ideas to market our clothing sale and celebrate National Multiple Births Awareness Day. Much of the success of our National Multiple Births Awareness Day event can be contributed to Michelle's remarkable skills. Michelle found a great venue, coordinated all the logistics and even arranged a discount for families with multiples at the venue. In addition, Michelle liaised with regional political figures and the media, and personally managed the event while our executive committee members attended a national conference.
Michelle is hardworking, talented and dedicated. She is professional as well as personable. Michelle would be an asset to any organization.
